Through Maiden Lane she strolls…
Seeing SF decked out during the holidays is a favorite thing of mine to do at this time of the year. Though the holiday rush of last minute shoppers could be intense, having completed most of my Christmas shopping earlier on keeps me at ease. Last Sunday, I had a chance to just walk around, enjoy the holiday cheer around me and spend quality time with my girlfriends.
Since the weather has been much colder, I’ve been living in layers–beanies, coats, sweaters, etc. I have achieved balance with the attire that is shown above, as I have found quality in the basics that I have paired with Chanel in this look. I am all about mixing highs with lows. When it comes to shopping, finding good quality and inexpensive items creates a nice balance between one’s wallet and wardrobe. I have never been a firm believer in shopping at just one place. Though, I do love luxury pieces, I know not to buy my everyday basics from the same place–for example, Neiman Marcus. Places where I do like to shop for budget-friendly basics include: H&M and Uniqlo. More of my moderate to high spending would be at Aritzia, J. Crew, Oak and Fort, Zara, etc.
I am wearing: Old Navy coat, Cotton On sweater, Target maternity jeans and Chanel vintage bag, shoes and brooch. (This sweater has gone through two winters with me so far, and the quality after multiple washes seems unchanged)
